Who runs the service

The service is run by Anıl Karabulut as an individual, not by a company. Address: Akhisar, Manisa, Türkiye. Contact: destek@translateyourpdf.com. The service is provided at translateyourpdf.com. Write to that address for any request about your data.

Your files

The source file you upload and the output produced from it are kept only for the duration of the job and are deleted automatically within one hour at the latest. File contents and file names are never written to a persistent database; our records contain neither the name nor the content of your file.

Translation provider

We do not produce the translation ourselves: the text blocks extracted from your document are sent to our translation provider DeepSeek (api.deepseek.com). The file itself is not sent — only the text to be translated leaves our server, and the result is placed back into your document. This transfer goes outside Türkiye and the EU. For that reason we recommend not uploading confidential or sensitive documents you would not want translated by a third party. The free PDF tools (merge, split, rotate, compress and the rest) run entirely on our own server and send nothing outside it. Text recognition (OCR) for scanned documents also runs on our own server.

Account and usage data

When you register we store only:

• Your e-mail address (for signing in; we keep no password — you sign in with a link).
• Your credit balance.
• A content-free usage record: date, tool used, page count and credits spent. This record contains no file name and no content.

IP address and daily quota

To enforce the free daily page quota for use without an account, and to prevent abuse, your IP address is kept together with that day's page counter. This record is a counter and nothing more: it holds no file name, no content and no e-mail address, and it resets every day. When you enter an e-mail address to raise the free quota, that address is not stored; only that day's quota is raised.

E-mail delivery

Your e-mail address is passed to an SMTP e-mail provider to deliver sign-in links and essential notices about your account. We send no marketing e-mail.

Payment data

Payments are taken through our payment provider Paddle, acting as Merchant of Record. Your card details are processed by Paddle and never enter this application; we cannot see or store your card data.

Logs

Our error and operational logs are structured. No log line contains file content, an e-mail address, a session token or an API key.

Cookies

We use functional cookies only — for your session, for security (CSRF) and for your preferences. We set no advertising or third-party tracking cookies. For details see the Cookie Policy.

Your rights

Under Turkish data protection law (KVKK) and, if you are in the EU, under the GDPR, you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict its processing, to receive a copy of it and to object to processing. Write to destek@translateyourpdf.com; we answer within 30 days at the latest. Deletion of your account is requested at the same address (there is no delete button in the app yet): on your request, your account and balance data are removed. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority, or with the supervisory authority in your own country if you are in the EU.

Changes

When we update this policy the "last updated" date on this page changes. We notify registered users by e-mail of material changes.
